Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE has decided conduct the Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exams 2022 as per the schedule released earlier. The state board conducted a review in lieu of the present situation, however, decided to not postpone the board exams for Classes 10 and 12.
The exams will be conducted in February and March as per the time table released MSBSHSE. Schools and colleges have been given freedom to conduct oral and practical exams as per the schedule, but the offline exams will be conducted as planned, Chairman Sharad Gosavi said.
“Schools and colleges can conduct their internal examinations as per their schedule and what is suitable but the written exams will be conducted offline as per the schedule released earlier. However, based on the situation before the exams, a decision will be made,” added Gosavi. According to the State Board timetable, Class 12 HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) oral exams are to be held between February 14 to March 3, 2022, and written exams will be held starting March 4, 2022.
Similarly, for Class 10 SSC (Secondary School Certificate) oral and practical exams are to be held between February 25 to March 14, 2022, and written examinations will be held from March 15, 2022.
Last year, both HSC and SSC exams were cancelled due to days of uncertainty. The results for both the exams were declared based on internal evaluation. The syllabus for the exams has been reduced by 25% as per the demands made by students to reduce the difficulty of the exam considering the present situation. Nearly 32 lakh students will be appearing for the Maharashtra State Board Examinations 2022.
