India’s daily COVID-19 tally crosses 2.4 lakh mark on Thursday, as the country records a massive surge with 2,47,417 new cases in the last 24 hours.
With the huge jump in daily COVID cases India’s Active Caseload stands at 11,17,531 from 9,55,319 in a single day.
The Active case stands at 3.08%, while the current recovery rate of country falls down to 95.59% from 96.01%.
In a day 84,825 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The total recoveries of country stand at 3,47,15,361. The daily positivity rate increases to 13.11% from 11.05%, weekly positivity rate stands at 10.80 compared to 9.82% yesterday. Meanwhile, Omicron tally in the country stands at 5488 from 28 states and union territory. A total of 2162 persons have been recovered from Omicron till date.
