NTPC Mouda celebrated the 125th Netaji Jayanti on 23 January 2022 with a series of events. A morning cycle rally was organised in which employees, family members and residents of Utkarsh Nagar township took part. Shri Hari Prasad Joshi, Chief General
Manager, NTPC Mouda addressed the gathering and reminisced the sacrifice and contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in achieving a ‘Free India’. A public building in the township premises was also renamed as ‘Netaji Bhavan’ while the dignitaries preset paid floral tribute to Netaji’s portrait. Screening of two short films based on the life of Netaji was
also carried out which filled the viewers with a feeling of patriotism.
On the occasion, Shri Ramakanta Panda, GM (O&M), Shri P A Pande, GM (ADM), Shri BSV
Bhaskar, GM (TS), Shri Subhashish Guha, GM(Operation). Shri A S Singh, GM (Medical),
representatives of Union, Association and other senior officials were also present.
