Despite campaign launched by Nagpur Municipal Corporation to take strict action, managements of establishments and marriage lawns continue to flout Covind-19 rules, giving rise to spread in corona cases.
The Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) raided six establishments, one lawn, samaj bhavan and academy on Monday and recovered a fine of Rs 1.25 lakh on a single day. The squad took action against Amrai Pande Lawn, Dhanoji Kunbi Samaj Bhavan, Suyog Nagar, Prafulla Vidya, Tulsibag and Maheshwari Academy at Badkas Chowk.
The action was taken under the guidance of Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner, and Veersen Tambe, Chief of NDS.
