· The coronavirus cases are showing a decreasing trend in Nagpur district with comfortable vaccination doses
The District Collector R Vimla, who is President of District Disaster Management Authority, has further relaxed restrictions on Saturday in Nagpur district due to considerable reduction in coronavirus cases and completion of over 90 per cent first doses and 70 per cent of both doses.
Gardens, parks, tourist places, swimming pools, restaurants, hotels, beauty parlours, theatres, sports activities and others will remain open for regular time with 50 per cent of public. The wedding ceremonies and celebrations would now be held during regular time with attention of 25 per cent of the capacity or 200 persons with the condition that participants must have taken both the doses.
The social, religious, cultural and political programmes can be held on regular timing with attendance of 25 per cent of capacity or 200 persons. For funeral processions there is no condition of number of participants, except for bose doses.
The Collector has mentioned that the schools and college will work as per the notifications issued by School Education and Higher & Technical Education Departments. There is also no condition for keeping weekly markets open.
R Vimla warned that strict action would be taken against defaulters.
Meanwhile, Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner has also issued similar order.
