Passengers on the Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto Express AC coach would never longer go without bedsheets, pillows, or blankets for the duration of their journey. From next month, the Central Railway’s Nagpur Division will give paid disposable bedrolls to passengers on the Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto Express.
Passengers will receive a bag/kit containing six items: a white sheet, a grey/blue colour blanket, an inflatable air cushion, a white colour pillow cover, a face towel/napkin, and a three-ply face mask. Passengers will be charged $150 for this.
Railways had stopped pro viding bedrolls to the AC coach passengers in view of the Covid pandemic after March 2020. Due to this, pas sengers faced a lot of trou ble. They used to travel with blanket, pillow and bed sheets in the train for long journey. Now, the third wave of Covid is under con trol. Along with this, the Railway administration has started providing the facili ty of disposable bedrolls to the passengers.
