The students of Standard XII are facing problems as dates of rescheduled examination are clashing with important interview for entrance to National Defence Academy (NDA).
The students have requested the State Government to either change the examination dates or request the NDA to reschedule the interview.
The NDA interviews are scheduled for April 4. The Maharashra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education rescheduled papers of March 5 and 7 for April 5 and 7. The rescheduling was done as the tempo carrying question papers caught fire in Ahmednagar district a few days back.
As the documents were confidential and there is possibility of its leaking, the examinations were rescheduled by the Board. Most of the question papers were of Marathi, Hindi and other minor languages.
Maharashtra Government has assured that the authorities will discuss the issue with NDA authorities. The State Government is likely to convince NDA authorities to change its dates. The students may face difficulties in returning to Board examination centre in time after appearing for NDA entrance interview. Their studies are also likely to be affected. The State Government has taken the demand positively. The solution to the issue could be worked very soon.
