Mahashivratri will be celebrated with joy in the city’s temples. Lord Shiva’s blessings will be sought through religious ceremonies.
‘Laghu Rudra’ in Nandanvan’s Shiv temple
On Tuesday at 7 a.m., Shri Laxminarayan Devasthan Seva Samiti will hold a ‘LAGU Rudra Puja’ with the participation of 75 couples at Shiv Temple in Nandanvan Colony.
According to a press statement, the ‘Shivmahapuja Utsav,’ which will feature a 51-foot-tall Lord Shiva monument, will be done strictly according to COVID protocol. For the devotees, separate ‘Darshan’ and ‘Mahaprasad’ preparations would be arranged.
President Girish Manapure, VP Dr Shantidas Lunge, Adv Nilesh Gaidhane, Vishwas Selsurkar, Prakash Gaidhane, Hemant Aakre, Dinesh Meher, Dr Sachin Gabhne, Ajay Devgade, Satish Kukde, Namdeorao Gabhne, Vijay Devgade, Kiran Dhobale and others urged devotees to participate in the festival in a large numbers.
Munda Deval Shiv Temple, Sitabuldi
Special ‘Shringar’ of Shiva Linga will be performed at Munda Deval Prachin Shiva temple at Tekdi Road in Sitabuldi, stated a press release issued by Seema Tiwari. The devotees will perform‘ Abhishek’ and decorate the Shiva Linga with flowers. Women devotees will also perform ‘Bhajan’. ‘Maha Aarti’ will also be done after which the devotees will get ‘Sabudana Khichadi’ and ‘Thandai’.
Vidarbha Mahadev Tekdi, Khasarmari
‘MAHASHIVRATRI’ festival will be celebrated on Tuesday at Shri Shivshankar Devasthan at Vidarbha Mahadev Tekdi, Khasarmari nearVCA ground, a
