The Indian Premier League schedule for 2022 has been revealed. On March 26, defending champions CSK will meet IPL 2021 runners-up KKR at Wankhede Stadium in the season opener.Â
On May 22, SRH and PBKS will play their final league stage encounter. On March 28, GT and LSG will face off in their first-ever IPL match.
Due to the COVID-19 spike in the last two years, the IPL (Indian Premier League) has been held in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), but IPL 2022 will be held in India.
Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad were the only eight teams who competed in the IPL last year. Ahmedabad Lions and Lucknow Nawabs are the two new teams who will compete in the Indian Premier League 15.
The match is set to begin on March 26. On May 29, the final will be held. In IPL 2022, a total of 74 matches will be contested, with 10 teams competing for the title of IPL champions 2022.
