The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has asked teaching and non-teaching staff in the state to keep away their mobile phones away during the ongoing HSC and SSC exams in avoid cheating practices.
Earlier many students and teachers had posted videos on social media sites alleging that mass cheating was taking place at several exam centers in Maharashtra.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that supervisors at some centres have been helping college students in dishonest.
After the alleged malpractice faculties and schools have been instructed to be vigilant.
In one such incident Teachers on the Laxmibai faculty and junior faculty in Nilangaon, Paithan in Aurangabad district have been caught serving to college students cheat in the course of the SSC examination on March 15.
