Fortune Foundation has organised 8th Youth Empowerment summit from March 25 to 27 at MLA Hostel, Civil Lines, with a view to providing employment to youths. Representatives of various companies would take online interviews of the aspirants for 5,000 different posts.
Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport, will inaugurate the summit on March 25 at 10 am while Devendra Fadnavis, Opposition Leader and former Chief Minister, will preside over the function. Datta Meghe, former MP, Vijay Darda, Chairman of Editorial Board, Lokmat, MP Dr Vikas Mahatme, Satyanarayan Nuwal, Entrepreneur, Ajay Sanchiti, former MP, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Legislator, Manoj Kumar, CMD, WCL, Dr Prashant Zade, Chairman of A S Agro & Aqua LLP, industrialists, bank officials and others will be prominently present.
Representatives from 104 companies from Hyderabad, Nagpur, Vidarbha, Nasik, Pune, Aurangabad, Baramati and other places will participate in the three-day summit. The companies have given commitment for recruitment of 5,000 youths for different posts this time. HR Officers of the companies will take interviews of the youths from SSC to graduate and post-gradulate level. Around 7,000 boys and girls have so far made their registration and it is expected that in all about 25,000 youngsters would make online registration shortly. This was stated by Prof Anil Sole, President of Fortune Foundation, while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday. There will be discussion programmes, symposia, guidance by IT experts, guidance on how to prepare project report, stalls for giving information about various schemes and on machinery for providing employment and self-employment opportunities under one roof, he pointed out.
Moreover, there will be sessions of the youths getting jobs through the foundation and now becoming successful with good package would guide the participating candidates and narrate their experiences, said Prof Sole.
The foundation has provided jobs to around 30,000 youths during the last seven years while 4,000 persons started their small-units or business.
Navneet Singh Tuli, Kunal Padole, Sanjay Chinchole, Ashish Khole, Yogi Pachpore, Kamlesh Pande, Dilip Gaur, Babli Meshram, Vishnu Tiwari, Rahul Nagrare and others were present at the press conference.
