Nagpur is experiencing a rise in temperature as the city on Thursday recorded 42 degrees Celsius of maximum temperature. In a day the city recorded a change of -0.1 degrees Celsius in the temperature.
Meanwhile, with 44 degrees Celsius Chandrapur was the hottest city in Vidarbha region. Earlier on Wednesday Chandrapur recorded the highest temperature of 44.2 degrees Celsius and was the third hottest place in the world.
On Thursday Wardha registered a temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius, Akola 43.1 degrees Celsius, Brahmpuri 42.4 degrees Celsius, Nagpur, Amravati, and Yavatmal recorded a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius respectively. Gondia recorded 41.8 degrees Celsius, Washim 41.5 degrees Celsius, Buldana 40.5 degrees Celsius, Gadchiroli 40.2 degrees Celsius.
Regional Meteorological Centre, Nagpur issued a Heat Wave warning for Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, Chandrapur and Yavatmal.
