The citizens can get Alphonso mangoes directly from Konkan under “farmers to consumers” project this time.
Krishiprasth Farmer Producer Company, Nagpur, has taken initiative to provide these sweet mangoes and make them available at G-4 Apurva Sahavas Apartment, 162 Pande Layout, Khamla, Nagpur. This will give a facility to the citizens now to buy quality mangoes of Deogad and Ratnagiri.
The programme has been taken up through the efforts by Agriculture Management Machinery, Satara. The people from Nagpur and nearby districts can directly contact Krishiprasth Farmer Producer Company, Nagpur, and purchase the mangoes.
Ajay Kadu, Deputy General Manager, Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Federation, has appealed to consumers to buy the mangoes after examining qualities of Alphonso mangoes.
