One youth received grievous injuries while six others in the procession became unconscious when their DJ vehicles came in contact with railway’s high tension line at Chhindwara char fatak area on Sunday.
The organisers tied Ram Navami flags in iron pipes and when the participants were passing through the gate the iron pipes touched high tension wires, causing the tragic incident.
The injured persons are being treated in the District Hospital, it is reported.
