More bad news for Delhi Capitals fans as one of the overseas player has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
The team has delayed its travel to Pune for the next match against Punjab Kings.
The overseas all-rounder player complained of headache and fever some symptoms and a Rapid Antigen Test was performed which came positive.
In order to curb the further spread of the virus, the entire team has been told to go under quarantine.
Meanwhile, reports are that another member of the support staff has also shown symptoms and RT-PCR results are awaited.
Last week Delhi Capitals’ physio Patrick Farhart was tested positive for COVID-19.
On Saturday Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 16 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
With this loss DC are in the eighth spot in the point table with just two wins in five games.
