More than 2500 dummy students were detected during examinations being conducted by Yashvantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.
The dummy candidates were detected as their photographs were not matching with those actually writing the examinations.
Enquiry into the fraud has been ordered by the University. Further details are awaited.
