The colleges of Nagpur Municipal Corporation School students has done exponential performance in results of Class XII and brought laurels to the city.
In all the three branches of Arts, Commerce and Science, the Corporation has recorded a spectacular performance of 99.23 percent.
Naju Rajendra Wasnik a student of the backward classes from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Junior College has scored the highest marks of 89.33 percent.
Nagpur Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B congratulated the school teachers, headmaster, parents, education department officials and staff for the success of the corporation.
He said that by recognizing the talents in the students, the hard work being done by the teachers and headmasters has resulted in the success of the students today.
Science stream
Naju Rajendra Wasnik bagged the first position with 89.33 percent. Naju’s mother works in the education department of the Municipal Corporation.
In Science, Suraj Sudhakar Pawar secured second position with 86% marks.
Sameer Shailendra Jambhulkar scored 85.67 percent marks and finished third. Sameer wants to be a doctor in the future.
Arts stream
Muskan Parveen Mohammad Rafique bagged the first position with 77.50 percent marks. Shabnam Parveen Mohammad Shamim was second with 74.67 per cent and
Ayesha Parveen Mohammad Nisar was third with 70.67 per cent. All the three students have done M.A.K. Azad is a student of Urdu Junior College.
Commerce stream
Students of Azad Urdu Junior College bagged the first, second and third positions in commerce stream.
Safura Iram Mohammad Murtaza Ansari with 76.50 per cent came first, Sadia Parveen Samsher Alam with 75.83 per cent came second and Husna Anjum Farooq Majeed Khan with 57.17 per cent came third. Among the disabled students, Vaishnavi Shantaram Telrandhe, a science student of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Junior College, achieved success with 63 percent.
