The makers of Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani have dropped their new song, Rangisari . The romantic dance song is a rendition of popular Thumri Rangi Saari by the late classical vocalist Shobha Gurtu . The latest song features the leads Kiara and Varun in white outfits.
The three and a half minute song begins with people dancing and grooving to the beats of the song. In the song full of colours, the two are seen dancing with each other at a club as they set the screen on fire with their chemistry. Along with their romantic dance moves, the song also features solo moves by the leads.
Sung, composed and produced by Kanishk Seth & Kavita Seth, the song Rangisari also went viral on the internet last year.
Rangisari was dropped on the official YouTube channel of T-Series nearly an hour ago today, June 6. So far, the song has managed to attain 466k views.
Last month the makers released their first song titled as The Punjaabban Song, helmed the perfect amalgamation of dhol beats with the film’s entire cast dancing on Bhangra hook steps.
The Punjaabban Song is voiced by Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi and Romy, with music and lyrics by Tanishk Bagchi and Abrar Ul Haq.
For the unversed, the trailer of the film, which was released on May 22, features the evergreen Anil Kapoor playing the self-obsessed Bheem. He loves himself as well as the world around him. Neetu Kapoor plays Bheem’s wife Geeta, who cannot see anything beyond the family’s happiness. Varun Dhawan is Kukku, a true-blue Punjabi boy, Kiara Advani’s Naina, someone who keeps the balance of both head and heart but the couple wants to get separated from each other. In the whole chaos of family drama they all try to make everything normal.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a story set in the heart of Patiala and much like the city, it’s full of love and laughter, colour and drama. It’s about family and its values, unresolved yearnings, and unexpected reconciliations, says the makers Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 24.
