Rainfall accompanied with ghostly wind and thunderstorm provides some relief from the humid weather on Monday evening.
The rainfall helped in bringing down the days temperature and providing more relief from the heat and humidity
Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Nagpur predicted Moderate Thunderstorm with lightning, light to moderate rainfall very likely to occur at Few places over Chandrapur and Thunderstorm with lightning, light to moderate rainfall at isolated places over Gondia, Wardha, Gadchiroli, Nagpur and districts of Vidarbha.
RMC recorded 6.6mm rainfall was registered at Bhiwapur area in Nagpur till 8:30 am, June 20. Yellow alert of rainfall has been predicted by RMC on June 21.
