Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde has stated that so far he has not signed any paper with any party.
Shinde held telephonic discussion with the party leader and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Rashmi Thackeray. Shinde is firm on his demand of forming government with BJP. He may not be given any ministry or other post.
Meetings of all the political parties are in progress to plan further course of action.
Nothing concrete can be said even by the experts in the field.
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar ducked questions by media and stated, “It is internal issue of Shiv Sena”. Congress leader and former CM Prithviraj Chavan also did not make any comment.
With the claim of Shinde having support of 35 MLAs, he can push MVA government to minority. If he joins BJP the party strength will be higher and may claim to form the government with the support of some Independent legislatures.
BJP has strength of 106 in the 288 seats in Maharashtra. One seat is vacant following death of a Shiv Sena member Ramesh Latke.
