The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Nagpur has been issuing heavy rainfall warnings for Nagpur and nearby areas.
RMC on Monday had said “Moderate thunderstorm with lightning very likely at isolated places over Bhandara and Nagpur. Light to moderate rainfall very likely at many places over Bhandara, Nagpur, at few places over Yavatmal and Chandrapur, at isolated places over Wardha, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Washim.â€
IMD has predicted rains will continue for more two days in district. Heavy rains are also predicted in Gadchiroli which has already hit due to floods. Meanwhile, the city recorded 39.6 mm of rainfall from 8:30 am till 5:30 pm on Monday
