Despite extensive urbanisation, Nagpur still remains home to many unique mammals.
On Thursday a team of Wildlife welfare Society got a call about the unidentified animal which entered the house of Nilesh Kalambe a resident corporation colony Gandhi Nagar Nagpur.
Upon arrival, the team found that a civet cat had managed to enter the house, causing panic among the residents who contacted the wildlife authorities.
The cat was finally rescued after much effort and was sent to Transit Treatment Center Nagpur.
