According to MLA Krishna Khopde, the Pardi overpass project, which has experienced excessive delays, would be finished by the end of this year. “Work has begun on the Kalamna bridge behind Kalamna Market. The Pardi Flyover Project will shortly be finished.
Apart from this, bridge work is also underway at Bhandewadi, Dipti Signal, Shanti Nagar, and Kawrapeth,” said Khopde.
The deadline for Pardi flyover work in East Nagpur is long over. Despite running behind schedule, the flyover has not been started for any direction from Pardi Square so far. In October 2021, it was claimed the work would be completed in six months. Later, a por tion of the flyover had caved in. While the work on the collapsed part is on, girder launching is under way on the flyover.
