The campaign for linking aadhar card numbers with voters list has begun in the district from Monday with Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, and Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, submitting the applications with the administration.
R Vimla, District Collector, accepted the applications. The objectives of linking aadhar card numbers with voters’ list are to strengthen democratic machinery, simplify and make clarity. The Collector has appealed to citizens to voluntarily participate in the campaign. On the occasion, Kanchan Gadkari, wife of Gadkari, family members, Praveen Datke and Anil Sole, Legislators, filled form 6 B and submitted to Collector.
