Persistent Foundation has sponsored a 30 KV solar power project for Matru Sewa Sangh. The project was inaugurated at the hands of Chief of Operations, Persistent Samer Bendre, at MSS premises, Sitabuldi, here. The Solar Power unit has been installed under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) of the company.
Dr Lata Deshmukh, Secretary of MSS made introductory remarks and gave information about the activities of Matru Sewa Sangh, which is 101 years old. She thanked Persistent for providing the Solar Power Unit, which would save expenditure on electricity. Senior Medical officer Dr Ami Rahatekar expressed gratitude toward Persistent System. She said that an uninterrupted power supply has been ensured through the project.
Bendre also expressed his views. He said that the relation between MSS and Persistent is very old and the solar unit is a small contribution to the distinguished services rendered by MSS.
Rohit Bhargav and Yogita Apte of Persistent; MSS President Dr Aruna Babhulkar, Treasurer Vrushali Deshpande and others were also present.
