Nagpur Round Table 83 (NRT 83) had a change of guard during its 36th Annual General Meeting held at Tathasthu Resort, Pench recently. Abhay Agarwal took the charge as the Chairman for the year 2022-2023 from Ajay Chandwani who was the chairman for the year 2021-2022. Other members in the upcoming headboard include: Prateek Minocha as Vice Chairman, Rahul Gugaliya as the Secretary and Shivagya Arora as the Treasurer.
LMF Tr. Prateek Minocha, the outgoing secretary presented the annual report of the work done in the previous year. In the year 2021-22, NRT 83, with its 23 active members, has done some fabulous work in the field of Social Service and Education for the underprivileged children. He informed that the highlight of the year was the ongoing Sukli village (Hingna) school project with 7 classrooms, 2 toilet blocks and 1 staff room, 5 community service projects, 2 area awards, fundraisers and more. Some of the highlights of the year were :
•     Rs 10,000 was sent towards Kolhapur Flood Relief
•     Goody Bag donation of study material to 80 students at Divya Jyoti Centre
•     Conditioner Bottle Donation through Tangent India
•     Medical Camp with 8 doctors organized at Sukli Village with over 200 consultations given to the residents
•     Over 570 nos of 750 gm Boost Powder donated to Shraddhanand Anathalya, Ghuikhed & Titwa villages and Auto Rickshaw drivers in Nagpur
•     Commencement of the School Construction in Sukli Village
During the AGM, outgoing Chairman Ajay Chandwani presented awards and appreciations for the year 2021-22 to – LMF Tr. Jasmohan Singh (Best Attendance Award), LMF Tr. Nischay Sinha (Upcoming Star Award), LMF Tr. Paran Khandelwal (Money Maker Award), LMF Tr. Rahul Gugaliya (Money Maker Award), LMF Tr. Shivagya Arora (Blockbuster Performance Award), LMF Tr. Prateek Munot (Rab ne banadi jodi Award), LMF Tr. Rahul Agarwala (North Star Award), Area HT Sharad Agrawal (North Star Award), LMF Tr. Sahil Jain (North Star Award) among others for fantastic work done throughout the past year.
The AGM was also attended by RT 299 chairman – Tr. Shubham Jain, Area Honorary Tabler – Sharad Agarwal, HT Gaurav Agarwal, Sq Leg Jairaj Lamba, Area 3 Chairman Tr. Vedant Agarwal.
Elected chairman LMF Tr. Abhay Agrawal proposed his future plans for the coming year in his speech. This year one of the important agenda is to continue momentum in fundraising and support our ongoing Freedom Through Education (FTE) project at Sukli village, Hingna. He also spoke about organising futher fundraisers and seeking CSR donations. Members of other Round tables of the city, as well as the ladies of the Table also were present to attend the AGM of Nagpur Round Table 83.
Round Table India is a young men’s organization aimed at promoting community service and goodwill in national and international affairs. Round table is present in 67 countries worldwide with over 65,000 members. Round Table India has more than 320 Tables (chapters) located in 95 plus cities and towns. Round Table India (RTI) is an organization of non-political and non-sectarian young men between the age group of 18 and 40 promoting service, fellowship and goodwill in national and international affairs.
Working towards the education of underprivileged children, till date, 7890 classrooms have been built across India in, impacting 8.67 million children. Round Table India is a zero overhead organization and therefore every rupee raised by the organization goes purely into charitable projects and this year as well Nagpur Round Table 83 will continue its work towards any and all such projects. NRT 83 is a registered trust as well as registered to accept CSR donations
