Dharampeth M.P. Deo Memorial Science College, in association with the Inner Wheel Club, Nagpur Division celebrated World Breast feeding week with a lecture on “Importance of Breastfeeding” by Dr Nilofer Mujawar, a renowned Paediatrician of Nagpur.
At the outset, seeking blessings from Goddess Saraswati, the programme was initiated with a welcome note by Mrs M. M. Deshpande, HOD, Department of Home Science, on behalf of Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe, Principal & Senior Faculty members of the College.
Dr Rajan, well known Paediatrician and Past President of Inner wheel introduced the guest speaker and welcomed her with a sapling. Dr. Mujawar presented a detailed and interactive lecture with a message that everyone should contribute to educate and support in breastfeeding. Mrs Gauri Dhond, Secretary Inner wheel Club, Nagpur proposed a formal vote of thanks. Sushmita Mallick, student of B.Sc. Home Science conducted the programme proceedings and Vaishnavi Upasak provided the technical assistance. The programme was attended by Mrs Rucha Deshpande, President Inner Wheel Nagpur and members of Inner Wheel Nagpur and faculty of Dharampeth M.P. Deo Memorial Science College, Prof Seema Ubale, Meghna Pandit, Pradnya Bagalkote, Ashwini Meshram & Students of Home Science Department.
