· The actual rainfall in Vidarbha till Aug 10 is 847.9 mm
Indian Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for whole of Vidarbha region consisting of 11 districts for Wednesday and Thursday for thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places.
Meanwhile, Vidarbha registered cumulative rainfall from June 1 to August 10 more than normal, except for Akola where the actual rainfall is 431.3 mm than the normal of 451.6 mm with departure – 4. All the other districts recorded good rainfall with heavy and incessant rains, creating huge damages to agricultural crops, houses and many rivers/nullahs all over the region in spate.
Nagpur received actual rainfall during the current monsoon till August 10 is 1031 mm as against the normal of 600.9 mm. Following is the chart for rainfall in Vidarbha:
