According to India’s National Center for Seismology, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake happened near Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Friday morning.

In a tweet, the National Center for Seismology said, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Occurred on 26-08-2022, 02:21:50 IST, Lat: 16.82 & Long: 75.85, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 171km E of Kolhapur, Maharashtra.”
There has been no damage reported as a result of the earthquake.
