Rahul Koli, a young actor who appeared in “Chhello Show,” India’s official Oscars 2023 entry, passed away earlier this month after a battle with leukaemia.
The movie’s release on October 14 is something Rahul’s father Ramu Koli, who makes a living as an auto-rickshaw driver, said his son was looking forward to.
“On Sunday, October 2, he ate breakfast, and in the hours that followed, he experienced several episodes of fever. Rahul then vomited blood three times, and in an instant, my child was gone. Our entire family is in shock.
However, after we carry out his final purification rites, we will watch his “last film show” together on October 14 on the day of its release, according to his father Ramu Koli, who spoke to the Times of India.
The official entry for India to the Oscars this year, the Gujarati film Chhello Show, honours childhood and the wonder and joy of learning new things.
