The Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the State Government launched the Start-up Yatra in August to encourage innovation among young people. The second phase of the initiative will begin on October 14.
A presentation session and training camp are scheduled. Dr. Vipin Itankar, the district collector, made an appeal to residents to attend the training camp and concept presentation programme.
The Yatra’s goal is to discover new entrepreneurs and creative ideas in rural, isolated areas and to support them with the necessary funding, guidance, and encouragement.
A district-level training camp and presentation for the Yatra’s second phase will be held on October 14 at Ursula Girls High School in Nagpur’s Civil T Lines neighbourhood from 9 am to 6 pm.
A ten-minute presentation on new business ideas in the areas of agriculture, education, health, waste management, water, energy, e-governance, smart infrastructure, mobility, etc. will be given to the registered candidates.
The expert committee at the district level will announce three winners, and they will each receive prizes worth Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000, and Rs. 10,000.
To participate in the camp, interested candidates should register at www.mahastar tupyatra.in. For more details, get in touch with the District Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center’s office in Nagpur.
