The most important event of the year is the Diwali festival. This festival is celebrated with family members. People who are away from their home due to work or employment return with their families for Diwali celebrations. A large number of people in eastern Vidarbha prefer to travel with the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation. Because of the increased number of passengers, the officers planned various routes in advance each year.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, every festival has had restrictions in the last two years. However, because there are no restrictions this year, the festival is being celebrated enthusiastically. In response to the increased number of passengers, the Nagpur division has added 66 buses on various routes including Wardha, yavatmal, Chadrapur so that passengers do not face any problem.
