Dr Sanjay Bijwe has been appointed Dean of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur.
The State Government made appointment of five Deans through a notification issued on Thursday. The other four are Dr Samir Joshi at Latur, Dr Shilpa Damkondawar for Osmanabad, Dr Purva Patil for Alibaug and Dr Sanjay Rathod for Aurangabad.
The Dean’s will be on aprobation period for two years from the date they join the duties. Their salaries will be as per the Seventh Wage Commission.
During the probation period their performance will be evaluated. They can be removed on not performing the duties satisfactorily, the notification states in no unambiguous terms
