While starting the study of nature, protection and conservation of biodiversity in the state and the importance of every element in nature, Honorary Wildlife Protector, Avinash Londhe said “ further in order to create awareness among the public, the students inspired the students on the occasion of the birding week to create public awareness by clarifying the responsibility towards the protection of the rapidly decreasing birds and the rare and protected birds in the world.”
A student crowd of 200 from Hislop College and 40 students of Dr. Ambedkar attended and completed the celebration of bird week.
In the forest area of Mogarkasa Conservation Reserve Of Pavani Forest Zone, birdlife is very high and there is a beautiful lake in the middle.
In order to give the students a closer look at the biodiversity of Mogarkasa, apart from the lake area, a field trip to the submerged area of Bawanthadi projects was conducted by the Forest Department cantor.
The forest officials guided the students and gave them the forest resources for a better understanding.
