India-A team which is scheduled to tour Bangladesh for a two-test series may have Cheteshwar Pujara and Umesh Yadav. Pujara a specialist in tests may be made captain of the team.
According to a Cricbuzz report, apart from Pujara, Umesh Yadav could also be included in the squad for the A series. The India-A team will tour immediately preceding senior team’s tour.
The squad will be announced in a day or two after BCCI officials and chief selector Chetan Sharma are back from Australia.
Sarfaraz Khan, the highest scorer in the last Ranji season, may be a part of the team. Bengal’s top-order batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran may also get a chance.
The exact dates of the two four-day games are yet to be made public but indications are that the first match will start later this month and the second one immediately in the first week of December. The Indian team will tour for three ODIs and two Test matches from December 4 to 26.
