Narayana Vidyalayam has always pioneered in the efforts to conserve and protect the wild life. This year in one of such endeavours Narayana Vidyalayam has again adopted a Blue Bull from Maharajbag Zoo, Nagpur for the consecutive eighth year. This gesture will definitely sow the seeds of wild life conservation and protection in the minds of students.
The Maharajbag Zoo authorities presented an appreciation certificate to Principal Madam, Rekha Nair for the kind gesture. Zoo Controller Dr. Katkar, Officer Incharge Dr.Sunil Bawaskar, Veterinary Officer Dr. Abhijit Motghare, Shri Mahesh Pande, Shri Jay Darwade and zoo staff were present for this Adoption programme.Poonam Karunakaran , Pooja Shaw , Titiksha Soni and Mohan Joshi Sir accompanied few students of class 8 and 9 who expressed their candid views about the importance of conservation of animals .
