Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) is organizing a two-day mentor-mentee meeting on its campus on December 2 and 3, 2022. The event is called ‘Upkrit’.
The meet is meant for the students of the Professional Management Practice (PMP) course of the 2022-24 batch. Over 50 senior industry professionals will be attending the meeting.
Information released by IIMN says that the institute is honored to have this galaxy of mentors coming with diversified corporate experiences to help students hone their managerial attributes. They have been mentoring the students in a virtual mode ever since the program was launched and this event gives them an opportunity to meet their mentee’s face to face.
IIM Nagpur is excited to host them at the high-tech campus and profusely thank them for partnering with the institute to polish its raw diamonds.
Dr. Mukund Vyas, PMP, IIMN with a rich industry experience of 26 years in India and abroad, has curated the course with the objective of making students corporate-ready. The core of the course is on mentoring by industry mentors to enable students to gain more insights into expectations from the corporate world and align their development journey in the course.
IIMN director Dr. Bhimaraya Metri said that PMP is the first of its kind course designed to arm first-year MBA students with managerial/leadership attributes essential for successful careers as they start their careers in the corporate world. This meeting gives students an opportunity to have face-to-face interaction with their mentors.
