The Regional unit of the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMDER), Nagpur will soon be starting exploration for rare atomic minerals in Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts of Vidar
The Maharashtra Chief minister Eknath Shinde announced the presence of two gold deposits and reserves of the platinum group of minerals in Chandrapur district, on Thursday during a conference in Mumbai he said that the mining department in the central government has informed the state government that there are gold reserve deposits in Chandrapur and Sindhudurg districts.
The Revenue and the Forest Department has written a letter to the district collectors about AMDER’s plans of exploring the minerals in these two Vidarbha districts from November 2022 to October 2023.
