The minimum temperatures in the region continued to be below normal. Met Office website says that there will be no large change in the minimum temperatures in the next five days. But after that, there will be a rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius.
Nagpur city recorded a minimum of 10.1 degrees (2.8 degrees below normal) on Wednesday which is a rise of 0.9 degrees over Tuesday. The city’s minimum temperature is likely to remain between 12.0 to 13.0 degrees in the next five days.
Washim was warmest at 12.4 degrees while Gondia was coldest at 9.4 degrees (3.2 degrees below normal).
The minimum temperatures recorded in other Vidarbha cities in decreasing order are as follows
Yavatmal: 12.0 degrees (2.9 degrees below normal)
Chandrapur: 12.0 degrees (2.0 degrees below normal)
Buldhana: 12.0 degrees (2.4 degrees below normal)
Akola: 11.6 degrees ( 2.3 degrees below normal)
Wardha: 11.4 degrees (1.4 degrees below normal)
Amravati: 11.3 degrees (3.0 degrees below normal)
Gadchiroli: 9.8 degrees
