HRD Forum of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), IMT Nagpur, Global Talent Company and NIPM Nagpur Chapter jointly Organized discussion on “Challenges of HR in MSMEs-Bharat Atama Nirbhar” on January 13,at VIA Auditorium, Nagpur.
Event witnessed the presence of well-known Speaker and CEO of Global Talent Company Dr D. K. Bakshi as the chief Guest along with other dignitaries present for the event Dr. Suresh Pandilwar, Co-Chairman of VIA HRD forum. Dr. Smita Singh Associate Professor of IMT Nagpur, Shalu Pillai, Leader HR OD specialist of Global Talent Company. The entire discussion was moderated by Harsh Kumar who is also the OD Specialist in Global Talent Company.
Dr. D. K. Bakshi deliberated on the crucial role of MSMEs in emerging India and the need of government intervention to reframe conducive policy to strengthen the MSMEs which will enable India to compete in the global economy and emerge as a superpower by 2040. India today has all the potential to become world Leader and with focus on Policies, Quality, Innovation and meeting Timelines this all is possible.
Adding to the discussion another Panalist Dr. Suresh Pandilwar said, “For the growth and success of MSMEs HR professional being the Change agent can play Vital role in bringing the Paradigm shift by driving the Cultural growth, bridging the gap between employer and employee, and promoting openness. He also proposed to strengthen the missing link of understanding the HR function in MSMEs which is presumed to be restricted to catering statutory compliance only, however, HR function is the key driver in organization who can work as Business Partners giving the requisite momentum to growth of MSMEs. Going further another Panelist Dr. Smita Singh representing the Academia emphasized the need of Academy-Industry partnership which will create the future leaders having the real time understanding about organization working. The event discussion concluded with remarks from Panelist Ms. Shalu Pillai who elaborated on Employee engagement tools which brings the holistic change in the company and enhances the ownership and sense of belongingness in the organization. Harsh Kumar the moderator of the event summarized the keynote points of all the panelists and shared some of his own expresses on OD.
