A special team of Zone-3 is registered in an alleged corruption case. Officer Sachin Charade has been suspended by police commissioner Amitesh Kumar based on information from Zone-III DCP Gorakh Bhamre. While the other four employees were moved to the headquarters, PSI Jitesh Aravalli, the unit incharge, was moved to the control room.
Zone-3 formerly DCP During his tenure as DCP, Gajanan Rajmane created a unique team. That crew was under PSI Aravelli’s direction. This team typically prosecutes cases of food grain or gutkha smuggling. However, they used to disregard the criminals whose cases needed to be looked at first.
