The extramarital dating app Gleeden, which is based in France, recently revealed that it now has 10 million users globally. Nearly 2 million, or 20%, of these users, are from India. According to the company, the number increased by 11% since September 2022.
According to the company, Tier 1 cities account for 66% of all new subscribers, with Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities accounting for the remaining 44%. It asserts that the majority of Indian users on Gleeden are from upper socioeconomic backgrounds.
Speaking of professions, it was stated that both men and women work as engineers, business owners, consultants, managers, executives, and doctors. Housewives make up a sizable portion of the total.
Men are generally 30 years or older, whereas women are 26 years or older. According to the company, the app is specifically made to be secure for women, and as a result, in 2023, it will have 40% female users as compared to 60% male users.
