Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed willingness to retire. Koshyari has conveyed his wish to retire to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has not forwarded his resignation to the President.
The information about Koshyari’s wish has come from Raj Bhavan itself.
During Modi’s visit to Mumbai in connection with the inauguration of various developmental works, Koshyari has expressed his willingness to retire from active life, a note from Raj Bhavan said. The Raj Bhavan communication said that Koshyari said that he had the honor to become the Governor of Maharashtra, which is a land of social reformers, saints, and brave historical heroes.
