With the support of the district administration in the city, youngsters in Nagpur, Maharashtra, have begun to paint murals and other artwork on the walls of the streets. Youngsters are receiving painting supplies from the district government, district collector Piyush Samariya, and additional district collector Mohanlala Khatnawalia. Prior to painting, they are also having the walls cement plastered with funds from the Municipal Council.
The District Administration and Municipal Council encouraged the initiative. The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission offices have also been made more beautiful. Balveer Khudkhudiya, a member of the Consumer Commission, said thanks to the motivation of the commission’s chairman, Dr. Shyam Sundar Lata, and special assistance from the Additional District Collector, the commission is fully stocked with materials for awareness-related paintings and slogans. The Commission has drawn large crowds as a result of the refurbishment.
Numerous organisations have promoted these activities in an effort to limit children’s screen time and get them outside for leisure activities.
