After prolonged treatment for a brain tumor, Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Sawant, passed away on Saturday. She passed away at Mumbai’s Cricare Hospital. Rakhi has been posting videos of her mother being hospitalised and receiving care at the hospital for a while. Fans were to pray for a quick recovery for her mother. Sadly, she was unable to survive.
For the past three years, Rakhi’s mother had been battling the fatal illness. Rakhi frequently posted on social media her mother’s happy moments. She frequently discussed her mother’s health in interviews with the media. She also mentioned numerous times how Salman Khan always offered assistance and inquired about her unwell mother.
Rakhi claimed in a video posted to her Instagram account that her mother’s prolonged fight with a tumour was a sad point in her life. While speaking to the reporters, she became teary-eyed. “I can’t even describe how devastated I feel. I pray nobody suffers so much” Rakhi mentioned her ill mother at all times.
The most recent season of Bigg Boss Marathi had Rakhi as one of the finalists. She recently wed Adil Khan Durrani, a businessman from Mysore.
On May 29, 2022, Rakhi and Adil got married, but they kept it a secret out of respect for one another. It was a personal matter. For her nikah, she also underwent a conversion to Islam. She introduced her husband Ritesh on “Bigg Boss 15” before to dating Adil, however the two eventually broke up.
