The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has ordered the appointment of an administrator to Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), the biggest organisation of businessmen in the Vidarbha region.
The order was issued by NCLT as the dispute relating to the functioning of NVCC President Ashwin Mehadia. Former president Dipen Agrawal led a group of former office bearers against Mehadia. The group had moved NCLT and the executive led by Mehadia was issued notice on December 15, 2022, and the reply was sought within two weeks.
On January 31, after hearing both parties the tribunal issued an order to appoint an administrator on NVCC.
