One Week Short Term Training Programme [STTP] on “Developing Potentials in cutting Edge Technologies of Computer Science” was recently organized by Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur in association with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s Board of studies for Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Technology and Information Technology Group.
The program hasprovided hands on sessions on cutting edge technologies like Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Network security, IoT, Android app development and other recent technologies. The idea behind organizing the event is to provide faculty members of engineering fraternity the learning experience and interaction with industry experts from reputed companies like GlobalLogic, Tech Mahindra, iBase Technologies, First Impression Technologies, IT Networks and others.
Dr. Prashant Maheshwari, Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, RTM Nagpur university was the chief guest of inaugural programme. He addressed the participants with the motivating speech and also shared his views on Opportunities & Challenges for Educational Institutions & Industries.
Dr. Latesh Malik, Chairman Board of studies, Computer Group, RTM Nagpur university was the guest of honor for the program and shared her valuable experience and explained the role of teachers in the society. Dr. Vivek Nanoti, Director-Engineering, Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha, Nagpur graced the occasion with his presence. He highlighted the role of technologies in present era. Dr. Shrikrishna Dhale, Principal, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur chaired the event and encouraged the participants to inculcate the habit of learning cutting edge technologies.
Dr. Gajendra Asutkar, Vice-Principal, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur congratulated the entire organizing team. Dr. Leena Patil, HoD, CSE Department and the convener of the program briefed the gathering about the event. Prof. Bhagyashree Dharaskar was Coordinator and Prof. Himanshu Taiwade was Co-coordinator of the programme. Prof. Bhagyashree Dharaskar proposed vote of thanks. Prof. Namrata Khade and Prof. Vaisnavi Ganesh anchored the proceedings. Entire organizing team and the volunteers worked tirelessly for the success of the program.
