On Friday, Nagpur crime branch officials arrested four bookies for allegedly operating from the VCA Jamtha Stadium during the second day of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
According to crime branch sources, the accused were sharing critical information about the match from the stadium to punters outside in order to capitalize on the difference between the live and telecast times of the match. The arrested accused are from various cities, including Mumbai, Bhandara, and Nagpur.
