A 22 year old boy died by suicide due to the examination stress. He threw himself in front of a moving train near Godhani on Thursday. Yash Mane, who was pursuing a Master’s in Computer Application (MCA), was under severe stress as he had not prepared well for the examinations. On Thursday, he was expected to appear for a paper in the MCA course.
According to Yash’s family, his lack of preparation led to his despair. On Wednesday night, Yash left the house without informing anyone. His frightened family members filed a police complaint after discovering that he had been missing from the house for an extended period of time.
When the police were informed of an accident on the railway track, they went to the scene and recovered a body. When Yash’s family was summoned for identification, they confirmed that it was indeed him.
The incident has shocked the family. In this regard, the Mankapur police have started an investigation. According to Yash’s family, he used to excel in all of his exams. However, he was unable to adequately prepare for the MCA exams.
Despite the fact that his family members constantly encouraged him and told him not to worry, Yash’s depression persisted because he was afraid of not performing well. He committed suicide because he was unable to cope with the academic pressure.
