The first edition of PRO VICE CHAIRPERSON FUTSAL CUP (PVC FUTSAL CUP) was inaugurated in DPS MIHAN on 21st February 2023. Mr. Ankit Kanojiya, Elite Division Maharashtra Police team football player was the chief guest for the event.
16 teams from prominent schools in Nagpur are participating in the tournament which will be played for next 4 days. DPS Kamptee Road, DPS LAVA Nagpur, St. Paul, G.H. Raisoni, Centre Point School Wardhaman Nagar, Jain International, St.Anne, DPS MIHAN etc participated in the inaugural Futsal Tournament.
Ms. Nidhi Yadav Principal DPS MIHAN welcomed the guests. In her welcome address, she highlighted the vision of President and Pro Vice Chairperson Ms. Tulika Kedia to provide sporting facilities to students for holistic education and for psycho-socio development. She also thanked the Director Ms Savita Jaiswal for her constant guidance and support. She expressed her gratitude for the benign presence of Mr. Ankit Kanojiya to motivate the young players befitting to the occasion.
Mr. Ankit Kanojiya in his address, congratulated DPS MIHAN for organizing the Futsal Championship and promoting the game. He also extended his support to help the students develop physical endurance to play this game and emphasized that one should explore opportunities and believe in oneself to achieve one’s goal.
